Mindfulness Therapy

Mindfulness, as a general practice, is a way of becoming more fully aware of ourselves and our environment.

Through mindfulness techniques we can learn to pay more attention to the present moment, where we can observe our thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations – in a non-judgmental way. Mindfulness forms an integral part of Dialetical therapy and complements Cognitive therapy, by creating a deeper degree of awareness. The moment of awareness is, or can become, the catalyst for change. A therapy specialist will support you in developing the necessary skills and level of self-discipline required to simply focus on the current moment. Mindfulness groups are regularly held in our gardens, to help practice and promote mindfulness techniques.
